I’d say it is highly appropriate to end the year with an artwork of Chris Colfer. Here’s to the man who made my year! He’s been such an inspiration to me in so many ways, and I can only hope that he remains so for the next year.

Chris Colfer’s birthday was yesterday, and I was kind of hoping I’d get the inspiration to churn out something new just in time, but alas. So I’m just reblogging this one I did from last year.

He’s been such an inspiration to me, like I honestly don’t think I could stress that enough. I don’t have a sweet, sweet way with words, and I may not be able to whip out breathtaking phrases of praise, but I will say this: the best thing about Chris Colfer is probably that his heart is as big as his talent. It’s uncommon to see that in Hollywood, and I am just so grateful that there is someone like him worth looking up to.

We see the Glee Club kids graduate and flip the tassels on their caps, one by one; Blaine hands a tearful Kurt a tissue as he heads for the stage, and Santana hugs Brittany as she does the same. It’s that it doesn’t even matter

What the fuck is wrong with these writers. This is not how you write a story. You don’t spend a year with a character who wants something so badly, who works hard to achieve it, who gets told again and again that he can’t, who experiences losses along the way, who worries that the detractors may be right, who decides to take a chance and go all-out and be himself and nail it, and then have him not get what he’s been striving for.

Some fucking magical senior year.
